Football: U17 Women Place 4th At Tournament

The Bermuda U17 Women’s football team, in Haiti competing in the final round of the Caribbean Football Union U17 Women’s Regional World Cup Qualifying Tournament, have finished in fourth place.

Bermuda was drawn in Group B alongside the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, and Grenada. The team put in a stellar effort which saw them defeat all three teams to make it through to the semi-finals, which saw Haiti defeat Bermuda. Bermuda played Puerto Rico today [Sept 29] in the third place playoff which saw Puerto Rico defeat Bermuda 2-0.
