Results: Saturday’s BCB Lindos Twenty20 Game
Somerset Bridge won the toss on Saturday [Sept 14] at the Southampton Oval and decided to bat in this Lindos Twenty20 match.
Bridge were bowled all out for 69 with Ezekial Greenwood the team’s top scorer with 27. Kevin Lambe added 12 and the pair put on a 27 eighth wicket partnership taking the score from 38/7 to 65. Derrick Brangman was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 3.4-0-13-3 and Alex Dore chipped in with figures of 4-2-11-2.
In reply the Southampton Rangers scored 70/2. Captain Dion Stovell was the top scorer with 30 while Kwame Tucker added 23 not out. Dereck Hill had figures of 1-1-0-1 while Anthony Tucker bowled 1-0-3-1.
