Fulbright Education Awards Deadline: Nov. 15
The American Consulate said they would like to remind Bermudians that they are eligible to apply to the U.S.-U.K. Educational Commission [Fulbright Commission] for a Fulbright award if they hold a U.K. passport and are not U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
The application deadline for the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Awards for 2014-15 is November 15, 2013.
Created by treaty on September 22, 1948, the Fulbright Commission fosters mutual cultural understanding through educational exchange between both nations through the prestigious Fulbright Awards Program.
Postgraduate awards now fully cover tuition and fees and provide a living stipend for one academic year. Scholar awards include grants intended as a contribution towards any institutional fees, travel to/from the U.S., accommodation and general maintenance costs while in the United States. A number of memberships and sickness and accident benefits coverage are also included.
