Man To Face Supreme Court Trial After Collision

October 15, 2013

Because the charges he faced were indictable and can only be tried in Supreme Court, Timothy Scraders was not required to enter a plea when he faced Senior Magistrate Archie Warner in Magistrates Court this morning [Oct 15].

The 25 year old was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to two people as a result of a vehicle collision in Paget on 21st July 2013. Scraders also faced a third charge of failing to stop after an accident.

The Senior Magistrate granted the defendant $10,000 bail, required a surety and also ordered Mr Scraders to surrender all of his travel documents. Mr Scraders must return for mention on 29th October.
