Wade-Fray Coaching Tennessee College Team

Bermudian female basketball star Jenaya Wade-Fray has officially gone from former All-SoCon guard for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Lady Mocs basketball team to joining the school’s coaching staff.

Joining 10 returning players and assistant coach Katie Burrows, Wade-Fray was named as a student coach and will work under the tutelage of head coach Jim Foster heading into the 2013-2014 season.

The young Bermudian played with the Lady Mocs while she attended the University of Tennessee from 2007 through 2011, and is presently in graduate school.

While her time with the school basketball team did not go unnoticed, locals know the all-star guard best for her participation in the 2012 Olympic Games when she played with Great Britain’s female basketball team, becoming the first Bermudian, male or female, to make an appearance in Olympic basketball
