59 Year Old Denies Importing Cocaine & Ecstasy
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Apr 3], a 59 year old denied importing cocaine and ecstasy.
John Edward Thompson pleaded not guilty to importing cocaine and ecstasy pills in October 2013. He also pleaded not guilty to possessing the ecstasy and with possessing the cocaine, with the intent to supply the cocaine.
Senior Magistrate Archie Warner granted Mr Thompson $10,000 bail, required a surety, and set mention for 17th April 2014.
The cocaine was said to be worth around $4,300; while the Ecstasy pills were said to be worth close to $5,000.
