I understand from a St. George’s carriage driver that there was no ferry to get the passengers to the Olde Towne! The US one is still in Rhode Island and the local ones seemed not to be running! What a start to the new season!

  2. nuffin but the truth says:

and where was the MILLION DOLLAR Fast Ferry from the USA???

away getting painted!…this Island is CONNED everytime.

  3. somuchless says:

This happens every year with the ferry to St Geo so what else is new?

  4. Gypsy Mama says:

The St Georges ferry resumes on 21 April.

  5. Mamma Mia says:

Not impressed! Why wasn’t one of the large fast ferries organized and prepared to make a few trips to St. George’s? Another total lack of planning and once again the old town loses out.

  6. blue bird says:

    “FERRIES to St George’s,”
Yes there is a “BIG PROBLEM” with the FERRIES and it would be the Marine and Ports.
So much money wasted and we get “NOTHING”
That is why we have to get a ferry from the USA,the Government Bermuda
Workers and Ferries “DONT WANT TO WORK.
And we are still borrowing $276Million a year to pay these people.

  7. Ringmaster says:

Where was the “Bobby in the Birdcage” directing traffic in his Bermuda shorts and helmet? How about a couple of bobbies in shorts walking around Hamilton? Wake up Minister Crockwell and the TA and provide the simple and expected touches that are advertised but not provided. Pink shorts/taxis/scooters? Never see them but that is the advertising. I really don’t think Bermuda wants tourists. The Minister and TA is so out of touch.
