Photo Set #2: Teachers Rugby Fight Night XVI

Teachers Rugby Football Club hosted their Annual Fight Night last night [Apr 5] at the Berkeley Institute gym. Dubbed Fight Night XVI: Relentless, the event featured several bouts, including both boxing and kickboxing.

Governor George Fergusson and Premier Craig Cannonier joined ring announcer Alvin Harvey and the crowds as they packed the Berkeley Institute Gymnasium with some of the island’s top fighters taking centre stage.

The action filled night saw a few knock downs, towels thrown in the ring, fighters failing to come to the ring and lots of cheering for the athletes, some of which travelled from overseas.
