Hamilton Powerboat Grand Prix Set For May 18
The Hamilton Powerboat Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 1.00pm, bringing together boating enthusiasts from around the island to compete on the open water in two separate races.
The best viewing opportunities for the races promise to be from Albuoy’s Point and along Front Street. Refreshment vendors will be on hand throughout the afternoon, as well as vendors and representatives of motorboat businesses around the island.
The Hamilton Grand Prix represents the second leg of the Tripod Series. The first leg took place at Dockyard on May 4, while the final leg is set for St. George’s on July 6, 2014.
