Serevi Rugby Continues Bermuda Rugby Camps

The Serevi rugby program is continuing its time in Bermuda, bringing unique rugby camps to a series of mens, womens, and youth teams around the island.

A spokesperson said, “Taking place through April and May 2014, the Bermuda Rugby Football Union [BRFU], working with title sponsor XL, has arranged for the Serevi program to be available to a variety of local teams, including senior men’s 15s and 7s and women’s 7s, as well as youth teams.”

“Over the past week, we brought rugby to 350 young people across the island through school visits to MSA,
Harrington Sound, Prospect Primary, Bermuda Institute, TN Tatem, Francis Patton and Somersfield. Additionally, camps were held for teams ranging from U10 to U19 via the Beyond Rugby program.

“We’re very passionate in spreading the enjoyment and the core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship; they are providing positive influence on how rugby can change lives for the better.”

Following this series of camps, the Serevi team will be returning to Bermuda on June 27, 2014.
