Transformer Blows, Car Park To Close On Sun.
The City of Hamilton today [Jun 27] confirmed that one of the large transformers inside Par-La-Ville Car Park suffered a major failure last night and was damaged, which led to the power outage.
“The transformer is being replaced on Sunday and the car park will be closed for the day to allow the operation to be carried out safely,” a spokesperson said.

Belco …apparently you have an antiquated system…I would ask govt. To make enquiries as to it,and percievable iniquishus comparisons of camparitive colonies and their more modern …more energy effitient systems…as it is a monopoly…why havent they been upgraded?Properly?…apparently and I have sources who have indicated our belco has machinery equatable with the steam engine in comparison with more modern systems,this can be easily checked by itemising each and every component…or machine etc.and enquire to energy companies worldwide…surely the wise investor knows modernising increaces profit…not when it is done …but the way is…profit margin is dwindling and we the customer are well aware it is not modern from price structuring and cost…a layman can see this….terrible state of affairs.anybody want free air conditioning?…Quick go utube and look up free air conditioning and get tuit!…’parently you can utilise an electric fan powered by 6or12 volt to a solar panel…drill 2-1/4 inch holes in a cooler(insulated),install pvc pipe in three hole u have drilled hook the fan directly to the solar panel put it out a window,place the fan in a hole made for the fan straight down,put a syfo bottle of frozen water innit and the air is free ,it blows onto the frozen water and produces 42° untill the ice melts five hours,or gel pack…and guess what?…there is a new gel pack that in a cooler lasts five days!…called arctic something or other!…google it you’ll find it!…..free air conditioning per room per cost of these few things!
How is it “free” air conditioning??? You still have to run the freezer to make the ice. It costs xx number of dollars to cool something, no matter if you are making ice to use in a cooler, or whether you are using the power to run AC directly.
All you will save is the first cost of buying an AC unit.
No such thing as free energy mate.
