Video: Sharptail Eel ‘Explores’ Forceful Wreck

A recent social media post by the team at Blue Water Divers and Watersports shows a video taken of a sharptail eel as it lazily makes its way through the wreck of the fairly recently scuttled tugboat Forceful in the area of Whale Bay in Southampton.

The camera operator is able to get several close-up looks at the eel as it appears to be searching for food, with the eel seemingly unaware of the diver. The entire scene gives the appearance of both diver and eel surveying the wreck together, making for an interesting watch for marine enthusiasts.
