Labour Day Holiday Waste Collection Schedule
The Department of Waste Management, Ministry of Public Works, is advising the public that, due to the Labour Day holiday on Monday, September 1, West End garbage will be collected on Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4, while East End garbage will be collected on Tuesday, September 2 and Friday, September 5.
A spokesperson said, “Changes to waste collection days due to public holidays can be found in the 2014 Garbage and Recycling schedule, which can be found in the blue pages of the BTC phone book, or downloaded online.”

And if it’s raining, nothing will be collected until overtime has been approved.
