Wells then converted a penalty in the 56th minute to claim his second goal of the match and put Huddersfield ahead 2-1, a score they held for the remainder of the match.

At the end of the 90 minutes of play, the referee signaled there would be 5 minutes of injury time added one, and in the 91st minute Wells was taken off, and replaced by Murray Wallace.

Following the conclusion of today’s game, Wells — who scored both goals for his team — was named the Man Of The Match.
