Reggie Lambe Makes First Start For Mansfield

September 27, 2014

Bermudian footballer Reggie Lambe made his first start for English League Two side Mansfield Town as they took on Stevenage today [Sept 27] at the Lamex Stadium.

The 23 year old midfielder signed with the club earlier this month, and made his debut for the team on September 20th, coming on in the 74th minute of their 3-2 victory over Carlisle United. Lambe replaced Fergus Bell — who is out with a shoulder injury — in today’s starting line-up.

Stevenage got off to a quick start, scoring two goals in the first ten minutes of the game, and neither team scored again for the rest of first half, which came to a close with Stevenage holding the 2-0 lead.

Lambe was substituted during the half time break, and the second half saw Stevenage surge to a 3-0 lead, when they scored again in the 84th minute, a lead they held until the referee blew the final whistle.
