Photos/Video: July 4th Fireworks Light Up Sky

July 4, 2015

[Updated with more photos + video] Fireworks lit up the night sky on the island this evening [July 4], with the displays providing a host of colours and accompanying sound effects for the crowds below.

The fireworks marked Independence Day in the United States – also known as the Fourth of July – an American holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

.

Multiple locations hosted fireworks displays this evening, and the photos below are from Mid Ocean Club and the Coral Beach & Tennis Club.

  1. Nice photo & video work as usual from bernews crew but have one question to ask of the pyrotechnics people of bda when will you all step up ur game for the past 20 years it’s been the same type of display when u travel to places like Florida,Thailand,England etc the display is breathtaking some display’s even to music and for the client who is paying in the region of $1000.00 per minute a little more bang for the buck would be explosive
To all Americans happy 4th of July

    • Well that beats Hanbury’s $1000.00 a day.

      • Bwoy says:

    • Josphine Baptiste says:

They had to give tickets so we can afford to pay all the officers on sick leave, hopefully they get second thoughts on this and throw the tickets out, I mean really!!
