Cricket: Premier, First Division Weekend Results

Both Bailey’s Bay and PHC recorded victories in this weekend’s First and Premier Division cricket action.

Premier Division

Bailey’s Bay Win by 22 Runs: Bailey’s Bay 158 St. David’s Cricket Club 136

At Sea Breeze Oval, the home team Bailey’s Bay batted first and were bowled out for 158, captain Rodney Trott was the top scorer with 55, while Denico Hollis added 23, George O’Brien Jr. was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 10-1-37-4, while Del Hollis bowled 10-1-40-3.

In reply St. David’s Cricket Club were bowled out for 136, captain OJ Pitcher was the top scorer with 26, while Ruddell Pitcher added 24. Nyhrobi Carmichael was the pick of the Bailey’s bay bowlers returning figures of 7.1-0-30-5, while Malachi Jones bowled 10-2-37-3.

First Division

PHC Win by 8 Wickets: St. George’s Cricket Club 65 PHC 67/2

At the Wellington Oval, PHC sent nine men St. George’s Cricket Club to bat in their First Division match-up, they bowled them out for 65 in 20.3 overs, Damon Walker was the top scorer with 27, Bancroft Haughton was the pick of the PHC bowlers returning figures of 8-1-26-4, while Kacey Greene returned figures of 5-1-16-2.

In reply Charles Trott scored 58 not out guiding PHC to victory with a score of 67/2. Misheal Paynter was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 0.4-0-4-1.
