Irish Association Donates To Salvation Army
The Bermuda Irish Association [BIA] recently provided a donation of $1,600 to the Salvation Army, at the Association’s Christmas Lunch with Premier Michael Dunkley attending to thank the Irish community of Bermuda for their fundraising efforts and the Salvation Army for all the great work they do in the community.
The BIA’s treasurer, Michael Veale, and president, Brian Quinn, presented a cheque to the Salvation Army’s Major Pittman at the Port O’Call restaurant.
The event saw nearly 60 people in attendance for lunch, with more than 100 attending throughout the day.
