St George’s Town Meeting On February 9th

Mayor of St. George Quinell Francis will be hosting a Town Hall meeting at 7.00pm on Tuesday, 9th February at the Penno’s Wharf Terminal Building.

There will be a presentation on Hub 1 Cultural Tourism in St. George’s to highlight what is in store for the upcoming season, and the Town Meeting will form part of the public consultation process for the proposed marina at Ordnance Island.

The Mayor said, “As part of the Environmental Impact Assessment being conducted by Bermuda Environmental Consulting Ltd. the public is invited to learn of the proposed plans to develop a marina facility at Ordnance Island and to provide their comments and feedback.”

“I encourage all residents of St. George’s and those that have an interest in the Town to come out and hear firsthand of the great initiatives that are going on in the Town.”

“The public Town Hall meetings are a continuation of our efforts to keep our constituents informed and is an integral part of our communication strategy.”

“We welcome everyone in the community to attend and to provide feedback”, the Mayor concluded.
