The Anthem of the Seas sailed into Bermuda yesterday [May 2], with the Quantum Class ship boasting a number of features including the “North Star” – a glass capsule that takes guests more than 300 feet above the ship, allowing them to take in unique views of the locations they visit.
Royal Caribbean’s website describes it by saying, “The exclusive North Star promises to elevate you both physically and emotionally, revealing 360-degree views of a world you’ve truly never seen before.
“Simply step into the North Star intimate, jewel-shaped capsule and gently ascend over 300 feet above sea level, where you can take in breathtaking views of the ocean, the ship, and the exciting destinations that we visit.”
The Anthem of the Seas is scheduled to make 21 calls to the island during the 2016 cruise ship season, and the Royal Caribbean cruise line has already announced that the ship will return to Bermuda in 2017. It is the largest cruise ship to ever visit Bermuda, and you can view all our coverage of its inaugural visit here.
