42-Year-Old Injured In Collision On North Shore

[Updated] A 42-year-old motorcyclist is being treated for what the police said were “serious head injuries” following a collision at around 5.00am this morning [June 11] on North Shore Road in Pembroke.

Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “Police and first responders attended a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on North Shore Road in Pembroke at around 5:05am Saturday morning.

“It appears that a 42-year-old motorcyclist was traveling west on North Shore Road when he lost control of his cycle and collided with a wall. As a result the man was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for serious head injuries.

“The road has been cordoned off whilst officers process the scene. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact police on 295-0011.

Update June 12, 8.41am: The police confirmed that the man involved in this collision is now listed in stable condition in the ICU.
