The Annex Toys Create Anything Challenge: Lego Building Competition took place today [Oct 15] at the first floor of The Phoenix Centre in Hamilton, where the participants were building Lego models live on-site at The Annex Toys.

The Annex Toys Lego Building Competition was judged based on creativity, neatness, complexity and use of colour while taking age into consideration. Judges included April Branco, Sami Lill, Nicky Gurret and Zina Edwards.

The grand prize winner, Leonardo Burnham received a $500 gift voucher; second prize winner, Carter Bernard received a Razor Power Core E90 Scooter, and third prize winner, Charlie Bleeker received a Lego set.

Honorable mentions included Miles Outerbridge, Calum Adams, Zara Siddigi, Jaice Johnston, and Owen-Roberts-Pitches, and all entrants left with a $25 gift voucher.

Contestants and spectators alike enjoyed live entertainment from DJ iBreeze, Mr Magic as Lego Batman and free face painting by Chrisanthi Bailey of Scribbles.
