May 22, 2017

Running at the Jamaica International Invitational held in Kingston, Jamaica, Bermuda’s Lamont Marshall broke his own 3000 meter record crossing the line in 8:05 about three seconds quicker than his previous time.

He placed 8th in a field of twelve, and the race was won by Australian Jack Rayner in a time of 7:52.

Marshall has been on a record breaking streak lately, setting a new record in the 5000m in March of this year, which followed after his record breaking 3000 meters on February 11, 2017.
