June 12, 2018

A Sandys man has admitted stealing hundreds of dollars from the Somerset Country Squire.

Anthony Tuzo entered the premises on April 13 and took around $900 from the store room.

Tuzo, 42, appeared at Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to entering the property as a trespasser.

His lawyer Peter Farge told the court that his client had been “on drugs” at the time of the incident and asked that Tuzo be considered for Drug Treatment Court.

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe released Tuzo on bail, and ordered that he appear before Drug Treatment Court.
