This is fun stuff for the kids & they learn too.

Take it a step further & include motorbikes as well with things like a slow speed race where last person over the line, without feet touching ground, wins.

About 40 years ago the BIAM, Bermuda Institute of Advanced Motorists held a car gymkhana where ones skills with their car were tested with events like timed parking, width judgement, height judgement, wheel changing, a zig zag course much tighter than the TCD test, plus other skill testing events.

Remember the Earl of Essex gymkhana that the Rotary used to host on Nov 11th every year ? I’m no dinosaur but that was a great community event.
