Mother-Daughter Journey Workshop On Nov 24

Denae Burchall Bermuda November 2018The Women’s Resource Centre will be hosting a full day workshop ‘Steps Toward Healing: a Mother-Daughter Journey’ on Saturday, November 24th.

The workshop will be held at the Department of Workforce Development, Training Room, Parliament Street, Hamilton [Old Magistrate’s Court] and will start at 9:00am with a light breakfast. Lunch will also be served.

The full day workshop will provide mothers and daughters of all ages the opportunity of gentle exploration of past conflict and introduce new patterns of thinking, feeling and communication with one another.

Women who have estranged relationships with their mothers or a history of conflict are encouraged to attend, as well as women who are looking to learn new methods of strengthening their mother-daughter relationship.

Four dynamic facilitators will engage, inspire and empower attendees with their experience working with women and families, including Counselor Tiffanne Thomas of Therapeutic Consultant Services, Isabel Weber of Lotus, Relationship Coach Tina Laws of Tina Laws Consulting and Denae Burchall [pictured] of the Women’s Resource Centre.

The cost of the workshop is $75 for single attendees and $125 for a Mother and Daughter attending together.

    This should be more about mothers who don’t know how to communicate with their daughters and teaching them to love and respect themselves.
    And the do as I say and now as I do syndrome. It’s too many of these young girls trying to mimic their mothers behavior and have taken on the mother’s role while some have been given that authority, children having children I’m referring to. Also have a talk about mother’s who go missing. Yup! It happens all the time.
