Record Broken During Harness Pony Racing
A record was broken during the latest round of Harness Pony Racing at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.
Kiwon Waldron in the bike of Gold-N-Glory was clocked in a time of 1:02 flat during the 1:03&4 & Faster Time Bar Class Heat 18 which was only a fifth off the overall Track Record.
Finishing second was Christian Truran in the bike of Pocket De Gold who clocked 1:03&3, Darico Carke and Cherokee’s Ironman finished third stopping the clock in a time of 1:04 flat and Custard The Dragon and Andrea Westerfield finished fourth clocking 1:04&2.
During the 1:08&1 – 1:11&3 Time Bar Class, Pokie L Time and Casey Truran clocked a winning time of 1:09&2, with Candyce Martins in the bike of Iron Mike finished second clocking 1:11 flat.
In Heat One the 1:03&4 & Faster Time Bar Class saw Christian Truran in the bike of Itsallboutme clocking a winning time of 1:03 flat, War Machine and Waldron finished second in 1:03&3 and Philip Correia and Simsfield Hardtimes finished third with a time of 1:04 flat.
