Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Closed For February
The Gibbs Hill Lighthouse will be closed for the month of February.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Marine and Ports Services is advising that the Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse will close the month of February, reopening on Friday, 1 March, 2019.
“The Dining Room will also close but is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, 5 February, 2019. For information regarding the restaurant, please call 238 1897.”

Is Government carrying out repairs on the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse again. Many people are not pleased that the historic sites and buildings in St. David’s are not being kept in pristine condition. It has been quite sometime since anything work has been done at the Lighthouse or anywhere else re Historic in St. David’s. When return tourists and locals visit, they are not pleased that these areas are being allowed to look as they do. Perhaps if the National Trust and other history buffs come to see for themselves and make a serious noise things will get done. Please do not say contact your MP… persons have tried in many ways and nothing.
