Starting in Australia and continuing throughout the day in various countries and time zones, the employees participated in more than 300 diverse projects in approximately 70 locations.

Patrick Tannock, who chairs AXA XL’s Bermuda-based philanthropic unit, the XL Foundation, and participated in the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre project, said: “This is one of the most rewarding days on our calendar at AXA XL.

“We respect the vital role that non-profit organizations have in our local communities and on our Global Day of Giving we have the opportunity to collectively connect with these organizations and show our appreciation by physically addressing some of their most basic needs.”
