Power Outages Due To Inclement Weather
BELCO crews are working to restore power following a “small number” of outages across the island due to the inclement weather.
A spokesperson said, “BELCO is aware of a number of small outages across the island as a result of the inclement weather. Crews are working as safely and quickly as possible to restore power to affected areas.
“Safety will be the top priority for our crews given the adverse weather conditions still affecting the island.”
The Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning for today, with their forecast noting, “Strong to occasionally gale force winds, gale force gusts, and periods of rain with embedded showers continue until later this evening.”
Not surprised at all. SMH!
We are SHOCKED to know that it was problems yesterday the wind was not that bad,
we have seen worse. With all the upgrade that Belco is doing should not lose power.
