Netball: U11, U14, U17 & Senior League Results

The latest round of Bermuda Netball Association matches took place at Bernards Park, with the Rangers, Phoenix Sparks, Storm Lightning, Reds, Phoenix Embers, Storm, Whites, Phoenix Heat & Docksiders recording wins.

Under 11 Division

Rangers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 5 – 3. Rangers got 3 goals from A’meerah Richardson-Swan, while Xhe’naye Simons added the other two goals, Tenisens Dill scored all three goals for the North Village Lady Rams. Ja”Miyah Johnson was named the Rangers MVP, while Zoe Wiseman was named the North Village Lady Rams MVP.

The Phoenix Sparks defeated the Warriors 32 – 1, Hailey Trott led the Phoenix Sparks to victory with 12 goals, Xola Rollins added 8 goals, while SaNaa Grant scored 6 times. Kree Holdipp and Alaysia Scott both scored three goals each, the MVP named for the Phoenix Sparks was Nahla Robinson. Warriors MVP was goalscorer Maya Johnson.

The Storm Lightning defeated the Storm Thunder 22 – 5, the Storm Lightning were led by MVP Ameerah Outerbridge who scored 15 goals, Malaysia Furbert added 5 goals and Zeni Hansey scored twice, Sydney Troake scored four goals for the Storm Thunder who also got a goal from Naomi Crofton, Tallulah Parkinson was named the Storm Thunder MVP.

Under 14 Division

The Reds won the battle of the North Village Lady Rams defeating the Whites 12 – 10. The Reds got 6 goals apiece from Jazya Brimmed Peets and Sioma Rudo, while the Whites got 7 goals from Ra’eesah Robinson, while Kari Virgil scored twice and Carleigh Rodney added the other. Akina Williams was named the Whites MVP, while the Reds MVP was Tanah Edwards.

The Phoenix Embers defeated the Lindos Cubs 39 – 1, the Phoenix Embers got 15 goals from Khylie Smith, Sydney Santos added 11 goals, MVP Skye Charles scored 9 times and Jahnika Francis score 4 times. The Lindos Cubs lone goal came from Chelsea Almeida, with Teresa Rose Burchall named the teams MVP.

Under 17 Division

The Storm defeated the Phoenix Fire 26 – 7, the Storm were led to victory by Elishe Smith who scored 15 goals, while Zidonnae Robinson added the other 11 goals, K’xiyae Gibbons scored 5 goals for the Phoenix Fire, with Azaria Easton adding the other two. Selah Tuzo was named the Storm MVP, while Salayah Stange was the Phoenix Fire MVP.

The Whites would win the Battle of the North Village Lady Rams battle in this Division defeating the Reds 24 – 6. The Whites got 18 goals from Gabrielle Romaine, Coriah Simmons added 5 goals and Rae’Chelle Webster scored once, the Reds got 5 goals from Adriana Sabir, with Kiandra Burgess scoring once. Jessie DeBraga was named the Whites MVP, while the Reds MVP was Sa”Mya Lightbourne.

Senior Division

In the Senior League play two undefeated teams took to the court as Phoenix Heat defeated the Lindos Tigers 53 – 33. Danielle Raynor led the Phoenix Heat with 30 goals, while MVP Ebony Cox added 23 goals, JahKenya Trott scored 23 goals for the Lindo’s Tigers, JahTuere Trott added 6 goals and Charlene Gomez scored 4 goals Khianda Pearman-Watson was named the Lindo’s Tigers MVP.

Docksiders continue with their excellent netball showmanship, picking up their first League Win of the Season as they defeated the North Village Lady Rams 61 – 30. MVP Jess Reed scored 46 goals for the Docksiders, who also got 15 goals from Charlie Bridgman. The North Village Lady Rams got 17 goals from Darrika Simons and 13 goals from MVP Nikita Trott.
