Results: 2020 Sensei Roots’ Invitational Shiai
The 25th anniversary edition of Sensei Roots’ Invitational Shiai was held this weekend at Pembroke Sunday School, with competitors taking part in forms, weapons forms, and point sparring.
A spokesperson said, “The 25th anniversary edition of Sensei Roots’ Invitational Shiai held at Pembroke Sunday school attracted over 50 competitors in a variety of age and advancement categories of forms, weapons forms and point sparring.
“Notable for winning grand championships in both forms and weapons forms were seniors Kent Bean and Talia Iris and junior Tobiah Goodchild. Callahj Simons was forms grand champion for intermediate girls and gold medalists in sparring.”
