Covid-19: Global Death Toll Exceeds 100,000
With the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to take its toll on countries around the world, the global death toll has now exceeded 100,000 as of this afternoon.
According to Johns Hopkins University’s tally of deaths across the world, Italy has the highest death toll with over 18,000; the United States has close to 18,000; Spain has almost 16,000, France has almost 12,000 and the United Kingdom has close to 9,000. Smaller nations and islands — including us — are not immune, unfortunately Bermuda has had four deaths, San Marino has had 34 deaths, Cayman has recorded 1 death, the Bahamas has 8 deaths and numerous other nations have almost lost people due to the global pandemic.
