One Person In Custody After Shooting
One person is in custody in connection with the shooting in Warwick, the police have confirmed.
The shooting occurred at around 5:20pm on Friday [May 8] on Middle Road in Warwick, with the police previously confirming that “one man sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was transported to hospital via ambulance.”
Yesterday, the police posted a video on social media in which it was stated: “We do have one party in custody, and we are searching for others that we believe were involved.
The police added that the victim’s injuries “are not life threatening.”
