Full quote from the Police below:

The autopsy of 23 year old Alshante Brangman is now complete and the forensic pathologist has determined that her death is not suspicious.

As a result, the 28 year old Sandys parish man that was in Police custody assisting with inquiries into the matter has been formally released.

Therefore there is no further Police action required. The Bermuda Police Service again extends sincere condolences to the Brangman family on the untimely passing of their loved one.

Ms. Brangman passed away on March 2, after what had been termed “succumbing to her injuries” at King Edward. It had been widely speculated she was the victim of domestic battery, with the police initially terming her unfortunate death as “suspicious”.

The Royal Gazette carried a quote on Thursday from Ms. Brangman’s stepfather Dion “Mouse” Wilson saying:

Her eyes and everything, you could tell somebody hurt her. Her eyes were all blacked up.

The Gazette also said that Ms. Brangman’s mother Gina

…found out after the fact that she called the Police on Saturday to complain about an assault.

Bermuda’s other newspaper the Bermuda Sun carried a quote saying

A close neighbour said Alshante Brangman, 23, was found “beaten and bleeding” at her family home in Cedar Park Road, Devonshire

This morning’s issue of The Royal Gazette is quoting Ms. Brangman’s father Al Degraffe Sr as saying he is “satisfied with the police findings“, while Ms. Brangman’s mother and stepfather “declined to comment”.

We also spoke with Mr. Brangman, details here.

The 23 year old cashier was the mother of a 3 year old daughter A’Saiya, who is now in the care of family. Bernews joins with the Police Force, as well as all of Bermuda, in expressing our sympathies to the family. There is an online guestbook available where you can post messages of condolences available here
