Photos: Car Crashed Over Harbour Road Railing

[Updated] Scroll down for photos of a crashed car on Harbour Road this morning [June 9]. In the area located between Hodson’s Ferry and Lower Ferry just before Buena Vista, a car could been seen crashed headfirst over the railing only feet from the water.

The car appears to have crashed through the wall, and has landed only a few feet from what appears to be the residents outside table and chairs. Morning commuters could be seen slowing down to stare at the car, with many looking quite incredulous. It is unclear at this time what injuries were sustained to the driver, and we hope to update with official information as soon as possible.

Update 11:48am: Official information from the Police, stating the driver was uninjured:

Around 6:50am today (Wednesday), Police received a report of a single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Valley Road. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however, it appears that a car traveling along Harbour Road collided with a wall, ending up over the embankment. The driver was apparently uninjured; the car received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
