Police Appeal For Info On Missing Goldfish

goldfishAfter a burglar[s] broke into the St. David’s Primary School grounds and stole 11 goldfish from the school’s pond, the Police stated they are “appealing for anyone with any information about the missing goldfish to contact the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.”

At 7:50am yesterday [July 9], Police responded to the reported theft from the East End school.

The Police say that the “complainant stated that sometime between 3pm on Thursday and 6:30am on Friday, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into the school grounds and stole 11 goldfish from the school’s fish pond.”

Police state that inquiries into this incident are underway.

    Now that is bizarre. It could be herons though, they sometimes do a little fishing overnight, though it’s unusual for them to take all the fish. Bizarre.

    Coral Beach Club had the same problem with much more expensive Koi – and it was discovered to be the Herons!!!

    The report says the school was ‘broken into’ … If we’ve got birds committing breakins now we’re in serious trouble ;)
