The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed that an arrest has been made in connection with this past weekend’s shooting in the Charing Cross Tavern area of Sandy’s Parish. The victim, a 44 year old man who has not been officially named, is listed in stable condition in the hospital. Unofficial reports we have suggest he was shot multiple times.
There has been minimal information released on the suspect who has been arrested in connection; only that he is a 19 year old man.

A number of witnesses have provided statements and the Bermuda Police Service would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank everyone who has come forward so far to assist the investigation.
Detectives are still interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area of Cambridge Road before or after 5pm on Friday and anyone who has information about this case should be encouraged to call the police on 299-8115 or the confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
