  1. Real talk says:

ridiculous! U cant own anything in bda without having to pay triple for it..this is why ppl dont like the police..

  2. terry says:

Well…you know the ole saying………”A Pitcher is worth a thousand seventeen hundred and fifty words”.

I mean jinguz…I mean I could see if he was chased doing 60 kph on his way home from Docyard to his home in Cashew City and throwing his tools and clubs and bear buttles on dee road.

Rules are rules et al but sometimes you just gotta let people take another ‘drop’ from the cement trap and swing towards that greeny on the 18th hole.

Guess thats why he was pinalised…….driving out of bounds………..
Pooor fella. Some of these guys just don’t know how to use discretion anymore……Cops that is.

Give him a good screaming at and make him push it back off the road ann tal his mumma.

    FOUR…………………………………….

So what about all these people down Tuckers Town who drive their golf carts with their fancy wheels wherever they want? I guess its different rules down there…..
As far as i know if a road has more than 3 or 4 houses then its a road under the road traffic act private or not. As such you need insurance and vehicle licence.

      • Liz says:

Have you ever noticed the security gate which is normally closed to public. This makes it a private road and as a private road it is only required to open to the public one day out of the year. This goes with every private road on this island. Why do you think government won’t fix some of these roads…. they are actually owned by the residents.

  3. terry says:

James, thats because they have not yet been taken over by Government. Plus, it’s not incorporated. It’s Tuckers Town, a privately owned subsiduary of Wall Street………….

  4. Liz says:

The golf cart belong to Correia Construction and we all know how certain people do as they please. I don’t know where this guy was driving in dockyard but why was he fined as it was apparently a company vehicle.

  5. island girl says:

We were recently down in the Turks & Caicos Islands and we rented golf carts for a few days. It was an absolute blast! Mind you, there is no traffic like in Bermy but it was a great way for us Onions to get around, albeit at about a top speed of 10 mph.
Sadly with the traffic situation here, it would not be a good idea to rent them to tourists. If things were different well….. and I leave it there!

  6. drew says:

FYI the people who use them in Tucker’s Town have been warned by police that they will be ticketed for further use after being warned on numerous occasions…

  7. terry says:

Thanks Drew. That means that Mr. Pitcher is an example so to say. Amazing…rich white people get warnings on “numerous occasions”………………

    Rings a bell eh?

  8. DEE says:

HE WAS DROPPING A TIRE OFF TO SNORKEL PARK FOR CORRIERA CONSTRUCTION,HE COULD NOT TAKE THE BACK ENTRANCE BECAUSE THEY WERE INSTALLING A NEW SECRUITIY SYSTEM.THE POLICE OFFICERS DID NOT WANT TO HERE HIS EXCUSE,SO THEY BOOKED HIM.
BUT IF HE CAME FROM TUCKERS TOWN HE WOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A WARNING,THEY SAY IT IS WHO YOU ARE,WELL I GUESS HE IS THE WRONG SHADE OF “WHITE”.
