Female Footballers: 10 Day Florida Tour

Twenty players from the Bermuda Football Association Women’s Senior Academy team will be off to Tampa, Florida for a 10 day international friendly.

The BFA say “the purpose for this international friendly is to gauge a better understanding for our Women’s international competition. It was only last year that we had our Women’s team participate overseas, since then much has changed; therefore we will seek out where we stand, and what improvements need to be made. Since this is our Senior National team, the age group will range from (14-27).”

The local team will play a total of 4 games in 10 days against the likes of University of Tampa women’s team, Clearwater Chargers U18 girls, Fusion U18 girls, and Strictly Soccer U18 girls at the Collier Park Sports Complex. All four teams reside in Tampa, Florida.

The Women’s team departs Friday, August 13th, and returns Sunday, August 22nd.
