Photos: South Shore Waves in Smiths
Although Bermuda is not expected to take a head-on hit from Hurricane Danielle, the impact of the weather system is evident on the South Shore where rough seas and waves can be seen crashing in this afternoon [Aug 28]. The photos below were taken at Watch Hill Park in Smiths at approximately 2pm today, when Danielle was forecast to be approximately 290 miles south-southeast of Bermuda. The waves are considerably rougher then they were yesterday at Horseshoe Bay Beach.
