Video: Champion Footballers Return Home
Proud parents, friends and family converged upon the airport this afternoon [Aug 30] to greet the Delta flight, which contained the champion St. George’s Colts Under 15 Boys Football team who recently won the North Atlanta Soccer Association Boys Classic tournament.
Supporters welcomed the teenage footballers with banners, balloons and flags; with no shortage of the well known St George’s “blue & blue” on display. Upon getting outside of the airport, the team starting singing “We love St George’s, we really do”. Watch below:

St. George’s ended their tour of the United States with a very impressive overall record of 5 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. The East End team scored 18 goals during the tour, with Keshun Smith finishing as the leading scorer with 7 goals, others also adding to the tally were Kyajee Wilson with three goals; Steven Symonds and Vashonte Wilson both scored twice; Kodi Carlington, Nacori Smith and Arden Heyliger each scored once. Charles Marshall finished the tournament with 3 shut outs, only conceding one goal during the opening match during the tournament. The team was coached by Karl Roberts and assisted by Richard Todd and Neil Paynter.

The team members were Ajaleon Dill, Charles Marshall, Nacori Smith, Rico Smith, Jari Ming, Dequan Lodge, Ryan Resendes, Codi Carlington, Racai Paynter, Uzziah Bell, Stephen Symonds, Keajee Wilson, Vashonte Wilson, Keshun Smith, Giovanni Warren, Ardon Heyliger, Kenneth Wade and Zari White. Guest players were Zenawi Bowen, Vance Brown, N’Zari Paytner and Ayaleal Dill.
