Moral Of The Story: Wash Your Pants
Yesterday [Sept 22] in Magistrates Court, Magistrate Juan Wolffe pulled no punches, telling a man who claimed he was off drugs but had some cocaine in his pocket for the last 3 years, that “The moral of the story is wash your pants.”
34-year-old Dhakan Hollis pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance after being caught with the illegal drug.
While searching Mr Hollis, Police discovered a white substance in a twist in his pocket, which was later confirmed via testing to be cocaine.
Mr Hollis said he had been off drugs since 2007, however must have left it in his pocket since then. Magistrate Wolffe, in fining him $500, indicated he found the story to lack sense, before saying the moral of the story was to wash your pants.
