Photos & Results: 2010 BBQ Cooking Contest
On Sunday September 5th Selena’s Tailgate BBQ Contest was held in St George’s, and locals converged upon the East End to earn trophies and barbeque bragging rights. By the end of the afternoon the winners were declared with Al-Rashid Ebbins winning Best Steak, Mark Tankard and Garth Bell winning best ribs, Cain Burchall winning 3 meat category, and Kevin Bean-Walls and Craig Walls winning the best hamburger category. Blake Simmons and Perry Trott picked up two wins, best kebab and best picnic plate.
In addition to the BBQ contest, there were other activities including a pie eating competition, DJ playing music, fun raffles held, balloons and gifts were available to children, multiple wet fun slides and more.
