Coopers: New Fashion & Lingerie Department
On the heels of the successful opening of their new 3rd floor on Reid St last Thursday, A.S. Cooper & Sons Ltd. Managing Director Somers Cooper announced further plans for the retail group.
The re-fashioned 2nd floor in the A.S. Cooper Main Store will re-open this Tuesday, November 2nd with a new selection of moderately priced “Missy” fashions previously housed at their Harbourside store. In addition they will be introducing a brand new Lingerie Department, a completely new business for A.S. Cooper’s. The Lingerie Department will offer intimate apparel from labels such as Maidenform, DKNY, Warners and XOXO.
A.S. Cooper Managing Director, Somers Cooper commented, “this move will complete our mission to once again provide quality one-stop shopping in the heart of Hamilton for our “Missy” customer. The new Lingerie Department is a result of the island’s reduced selection in this merchandise category due mainly to the loss of Smith’s and Trimingham’s a few years ago. Our customers have told us what they wanted and we have delivered.”
Cooper’s plans for their Harbourside location include continuing their award winning Accessories Department and adding a new higher quality designer tier to their plus size fashions from brands such as Lauren, Calvin Klein, Rafaella, Jones New York and Michael Kors. There will also be a new plus size Lingerie Department featuring brands such as Olga, Delta Burke and Lilyette. Meanwhile the Bed, Bath and Home Décor Departments also located there will get a facelift.
