Photos: Kirk Simons Memorial Football Game

This past Sunday, a memorial football game was held in honour of Kirk Simons, who tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident earlier this month. Mr. Simons, 39, suffered fatal injuries after the motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a taxi on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Chapel Road.

A talented athlete, Mr Simons played football and was Captain of the Somerset Bridge Cricket Team when they played in the Western County Cup competion against PHC earlier this year. The last football team he played for was Valley FC, who along with players from West End United made their way to Somerset to play a game in his honour.
