Attempted Murder: Quincy Brangman Found Guilty

December 15, 2010

Quincy Brangman, 32, was found guilty of attempted murder this afternoon [Dec 15] in relation to the shooting of Nathan Darrell.

Mr Darrell, 23, was shot in the neck, chest and thigh near Kitchener Close, Sandys on February 13. Mr Brangman was also found guilty of using a firearm to commit an indictable offence. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.

During the trial, Mr. Darrell told the court he may have been targeted because of either widespread speculation he himself had been involved in an earlier shooting incident involving a cousin of Mr Brangman’s or because he had once threatened to kill a West End gas station owner.

Hope he gets minimum 25 years!
but it’s a shame Hanging is not an option

You know how our daft sentencing laws are…after all the monthly arraingment sessions that he’ll need to attend before he actually gets sentenced

He’ll probably get 12 years for each count, then they all are to run concurrently….so all in all he’ll probably just serve 7 years….I stand to be corrected??

He’ll be able to watch TV, smoke a lil weed, beat up other prisonsers along the way, etc, etc….

His sentence should include talking to youths about the dangers of Satan and his army!!

all prisons around the world are just like that. Jus with less gay action. Thats why the US has the highest rates of imprisonment in the world and murders.

Hanging????? Please this is 2011, and innocent ppl shouldn’t be hung. When a jury convicts a person does nt mean they are guilty, they can be innocent and have absolutely nothing to do with that case. 12 ppl consider you guilty, in fact your innocent. Seen many cases and ppl sentence the wrong ppl.

  2. What the Hay says:

I think that they should have also sentenced a certain someone else involved in the trial to something as well.. Bermuda is riddled with gun problems and you are going to get on the stand and admit you “handled guns” in the past… Nope he gets to get on the stand and say he saw someone shoot……I highly doubt this..and I am only stating my own opinion….Now he gets to sit up and run his mouth on Facebook while he is over there living in England on our tax money….He also should be sitting up at WestGate Hotel…Not to mention the pound is higer than the dollar.
