Videos: Cedarbridge vs Saltus Football Finals

On Saturday night [Dec 4] at the National Stadium in Devonshire, Cedarbridge Academy won the Boy’s Over 16 Knock Out Final, after edging out runners up Saltus Grammar School 2-1.

Shenouda Outerbridge had an exceptional game, scoring two goals in the first half to give Cedarbridge Academy a 2-0 lead, however Rakeem Deshields scored for Saltus from the penalty spot to end the game 2-1. Shenouda Outerbridge was named MVP for Cedarbridge, along with Daniel Andrade being named MVP for Saltus. You can view photos of the game here.

In the Girls Under/13 Whitney Institute won after beating Sandys Middle School 3-1, with Kshaela Burch Waldron scoring twice for Whitney Institute and earning MVP honours. In the Boy’s Under/13 Whitney Institute won, beating Sandys Middle School 1-0, with Jomei Bean-Lindo scoring the game winner.

In Boy’s Under/16 Cedarbridge Academy beat Berkeley Institute 2-1, with goals from Quintino Lema, Jahquan Smith-Deshields and Joshua Desilva for Berkeley Institute. In the Girls Over/16 Warwick Academy beat Saltus 2-1.
