Dage Minors Wins: Overseas Track Meet
Bermudian runner Dage Minors competed in a track meet overseas, in which 24 schools were represented, and won the 1600 metres.
Dage Minors and his St. Johnsbury Academy’s Boys Indoor Track teammates captured 3rd place overall in the meet, which was hosted by the University of Vermont in Burlington.
The teenager was also a member of St. Johnsbury Academy’s boys indoor track team which set new school records in the 4×400 and 4×800 relays at the Dartmouth Relays, held in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dage Minors was part of the both the 4x400m team and the 4x800m team.
Dage heads out next month as part of Bermuda’s team for the NACAC Cross Country Championships in Trinidad. Last year he was the youngest member of Bermuda’s team at only 14 years old.
