Temporary Water Service Level Reduction

abstract water dropsThe Ministry of Public Works advises water trucking companies, central distribution customers and the general public that because of required works there will be a reduction in water service levels in Pembroke, Devonshire and Hamilton Parishes from Monday, 31st January, 2011 through Friday, 4th February, 2011.

A spokesperson said: “The works being undertaken are part of the Tynes Bay Seawater Desalination Phase Two expansion project and will provide greater reliability in the operations of the existing facility and ease of expansion from the existing production level of 500,000 US gallons per day to 1,000,000 US gallons per day.”

“The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and would like to thank customers and the public for their cooperation during this period.”
